An emotional story about family ties, a mysterious child, his bees, the smell of oranges, love, betrayal and hatred taking place in a country ravaged by the revolution and the devastating Spanish flu.

The day old nurse Nana Reja found an abandoned child under the bridge surrounded by bees, the life of a Mexican town began to change once and for all. The boy, who was called “a child kissed by the devil” locally because of his disfigured face, was opened by a family of local planters who raised him as their own.

From an early age, Simonopia was surrounded by a swarm of bees that accompanied and protected him everywhere. And as he grew, he brought more and more miracles into the lives of his adoptive parents. He had one exceptional ability … When he closed his eyes, he saw what no one else – visions of what was yet to come – beautiful, even dangerous ones.
Against the backdrop of the Mexican Revolution and the Spanish flu, a unique story unfolds that captures not only the fate of the country, but also a family that has placed its love, faith and future in the hands of someone whose pure heart has protected the whole family from betrayal, greed and hatred.
